Our Story
How We Got Here
TravisBytes started in 2024 with a simple observation: startups don't need a 200-person outsourcing factory. They need a small group of sharp engineers who actually care about the product they're building.
That's us.
We're a team of engineers based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. We started TravisBytes because we saw too many outsourcing relationships fail — not because of skill, but because of alignment. Big shops treat your project as one of fifty. We treat it as one of a few.
We're builders. We write code every day. We use AI tools in our own workflow. And we're obsessed with shipping working software — not reports about software.
We're still early. We're still growing. And that means every client gets the founder's direct attention and the kind of hustle that larger companies lost years ago.

Ship it.
Working software beats perfect plans. We get things into users’ hands quickly, then iterate based on real feedback.
Be honest, even when it’s hard.
If your timeline is unrealistic, we’ll say so. If a feature is a bad idea, we’ll explain why. Trust starts with honesty.
Small is a feature.
Every engineer on your project is senior. Every question gets a thoughtful answer. We’d rather do five projects exceptionally than fifty projects okay.
AI is a tool, not a religion.
We use AI where it genuinely helps — not to put ‘AI-powered’ on a landing page. We’ll always recommend what actually works.
